Billington swinging doors can be made to suit any width by using there standard panel range, which is the T10 System. The system has a mesh size of 20mm x 100mm, this is then welded to a 30mm x 30mm tubed frame. The system can either make a single on double swinging door, this works by using different types of door kits. The door is mounted to posts by 2 hinges, the holes are drill in the hinges and line up with the posts and panels. A bracing bar is attached using brackets that slide into the top of the posts, the bracing bar is added and self tapped into place, it supports the door and keeps the gaps equal. The door is fitted with a simple snap and catch to keep it closed, interlocks can be fitted as an extra safety feature, which are Guard-master, Telemecanique or Euchner. Brackets are mounted into the top of the posts, these brackets then hold a runner rail, and the door runners then run inside this. Door runners are mounted to the top of the door panel, door guides are mounted to the posts, to keep the door in a straight line. The door is fitted with a simple snap and catch to keep it closed, interlocks can be fitted as an extra safety feature, which are Guard-master, Telemecanique or Euchner. The door is a good alternative in situations demanding fast opening e.g. loading stations. The door is available in different widths and heights. It can be adapted for various conditions and variable cycle times for opening and closing. The Billington Roller Door is supplied and fitted for you by trained installers this then can be interfaced to robots or other machinery so that the door will only open when the machinery inside the cell has completed its function.

The concept is based on standard components where width and height can vary depending on the customers needs. The door is supported with weights and provides a safe and well-balanced solution. None standard colours can be supplied upon request.
The Billington Roller Door is a new product within the Safety Programme, it gives customers more options to easily enter and exit hazardous/ dangerous areas. The doorframe is made from anodised aluminium profiles, the door itself is made from PVC-coated polyester fabric, which is available in different colours and with viewing windows. |
